We plant seeds to cultivate a more equitable, sustainable media and tech ecosystem.

Projects are incubated in the Lab as a Seed and nurtured for at least 5 years, receiving close mentorship and capacity building support from the MADE Lab in collaboration with students, artists and community members, whose learning from the experiment contributes to MADE Research.

MADE Projects are planted in two general categories:

1) MADE Projects led by the lab’s Director in collaboration with artists, scholars and organizers, and

2) Community-specific MADE Projects led by artists, scholars and organizers outside the university.
