The Media Reparations Manifesto (Polity, forthcoming) offers a framework for healing injustices across journalism, entertainment, and digital media. It aims to be a practical guide for researchers, artists, organizers, entrepreneurs, businesses, and those in government committed to beginning the process of transformative repair.

Chapters will:

  1. Lay out a theoretical framework for understanding the complexity of repairing media and technology systems.

  2. Offer a historical survey of harm in tech, film/TV, and journalism.

  3. Provide a guide to reparative praxis through examples of policies, organizations, and campaigns actively working toward media and restorative justice.
